All students at LAS are encouraged to bring in new, unopened toys for the Toys for Tots Toy Drive over the next several weeks. This is a competition versus Baraga students to see which school can collect the most toys for those in need during this holiday season. The toy collection will run from now until December 8th. Toys will then be counted and a prize will be given to the grade that brings in the most toys for this great cause. Toys can be brought to the following classrooms for each grade:

School Dress Code Applies. No weapons. At the beginning of 1st hour, teachers submit names of all students who have dressed up to be included in a drawing at the end of the day. Top costumes for each class, 1st hour should be sent to the office. PBIS staff will take pictures of top costumes for teachers to have students vote on during 3rd hour.


After-School Tutoring with Jaycie Forcia will be available to ALL 9-12 grade students on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 4:00 in the Promise Neighborhood room on the Second Floor. If students are in need of transportation after tutoring, please see Katie to get a permission slip. Students will not be able to receive transportation until the form is signed by a parent/guardian and turned into Jaycie.
